Cloud Gate ("The Bean"), Chicago
1 30 min

Millennium Park, 201 E. Randolph St, Chicago

Cloud Gate ("The Bean")

Anish Kapoor's 110-ton polished steel sculpture is Chicago's most photographed landmark. The seamless reflective surface bends the entire city skyline into a single curved image — and beneath the arch, looking up creates a disorienting, gorgeous kaleidoscope of sky and people. We drop you directly at AT&T Plaza. Crown Fountain is a short stroll south if time allows.

Skydeck Chicago, Chicago

Willis Tower, 233 S. Wacker Drive, Chicago

Skydeck Chicago

At 1,353 feet, the Skydeck sits on the 103rd floor of Willis Tower — once the world's tallest building for 25 years. The signature experience is The Ledge: four glass-floor balconies cantilevering 4.3 feet out, letting you stare straight down at the street grid. On a clear day, you can see four states — Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

111 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago

Art Institute of Chicago

The second-largest art museum in the United States, home to original masterpieces including American Gothic, Nighthawks, and A Sunday on La Grande Jatte, plus one of the world's finest Impressionist wings — Monet, Renoir, and Caillebotte. The iconic bronze lions out front are a must for photos. Grab the free highlights map at the front desk for the best one-hour route.

600 E. Grand Avenue, Chicago — Lake Michigan

Navy Pier

Navy Pier stretches nearly miles out into Lake Michigan and offers the best skyline photograph in all of Chicago — looking west from the far end, downtown rises dramatically behind the harbor. You have a full hour here with two options:

Adler Planetarium, 1300 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago — Museum Campus

Adler Peninsula — Skyline Photo Stop

A quick but unmissable stop. The tip of the Adler Planetarium peninsula gives the single most unobstructed view of the Chicago skyline anywhere in the city — the full downtown profile reflected in Lake Michigan, with no buildings or structures in the foreground. This is the shot you came for.

Best photo tips: Face west for the full skyline. The John Hancock, Willis Tower, and Tribune Tower all align perfectly from this vantage. The van is parked close — it's a 5-minute walk to the viewpoint and back.

Shedd Aquarium, Chicago
6 45 min

1200 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago — Museum Campus

Shedd Aquarium

One of the world's most visited aquariums, Shedd houses over 32,000 animals across six distinct habitats. The centerpiece is the 90,000-gallon Caribbean Reef in the central rotunda. The Oceanarium features beluga whales and dolphins against a floor-to-ceiling glass wall aligned with Lake Michigan on the horizon — an unforgettable visual.

1400 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago — Museum Campus

Field Museum

One of the largest natural history museums in the world, home to SUE — the most complete T. rex skeleton ever found, 40 feet long with 90% of original bones. Beyond SUE: halls of ancient Egypt with genuine mummies, the Hall of Gems, and stunning Pacific and Native American art collections.

With one hour, we recommend: Visit SUE first (main hall), then choose one additional hall of your choice.

What our guests say

Perfect for our family. The van was spotless, and not having to park 7 times was worth every dollar. The driver was patient with our kids and got us to each stop with plenty of time.

May 2026

I compared 4 tour companies. RRRTours was the only one that guaranteed a seat. No overselling. That matters. The loop hits every Chicago icon without feeling rushed.

May 2026

The high-roof Ford Transit is a game changer. I'm 6'4" and could stand up inside. Driver was friendly and on time at every stop.
